Funny story of the day:
so we had to call our host families today to figure out a time to meet them and find the house and what not. So i call the number I'm given the first time and a man answers (conversation actually in spanish):
rachel: hello! can i talk to mercedes?
man: quien?!
rachel: senora marcos, this is rachel craig, i'm a student at marquette university and i believe i'm living with you
man: really?
rachel:si.... i think so...
man: i dont think so. (man hangs up)
SOOO i'm like what the hell... maybe i dialed the wrong number? maybe thats her son who didn't know I was living with them? etc... i decide to call back later (conversation actually in spanish):
rachel: hi can i talk to senora marcos?
same man: quien?
rachel: is this senor marcos?
same man: no
rachel: oh ok, i think i have the wrong number, sorry
same man: no no, where do you live? Do you want to live with me?
rachel: no, its ok
same man: what? you don't like living with men?
rachel: uhh... no.
same man: you can live me, come on!
rachel: ..........
same man: yes, you want to?!
rachel: no no. adios.
Needless to say I was slightly confused and thrown off. I have no idea where Mercedes Marcos is but I need to find her so I have a home on Sunday!!

Todo estará bien! No te preocupes! Bueno pues te encantaría el Prado! Hay un museo de arte moderno y espero que hay una pintura/photographia que todavía esta allí porque quiero que la ves. Si subes en la ascensor, creo que es la tercera pisa, y cuando sales del ascensor giras a la izquierda, estaré una fotografia de un castillo magnifico con el reflejo en el lagito. Presta mucha atención a la foto y sabrías porque queria yo que la ves. Un amiga mia de Italia estaba hablando de un foto en un museo en Madrid que era raro y dije, "esa que ..... es la de que hablas?" Que locura era que ella ha visto la misma foto y pensaba las mismas cosas que yo - y tras años! La he visto en 2003 y ella en 2004 o 2005. Bueno, pues espero que lo encontraras. Oooo creo que tengo el titulo en mi libreta, voy a buscarlo............... es el Castillo de Trivoli.

Vale, con cariño! Ooo y sabes que? Apple me esta mandando un nuevo Macbook! Que suerte! O! Si tienes problemas con la tuya, puedes ir a la tienda de Apple en Madrid y ellos la arreglara sin problema si tienes Apple Care. So tienes que hablar bastante bien para que sepan la problema.
